I hope here to address any questions you may have about my membership site and affiliate scheme. If you have a question that is not addressed here, then feel free to contact me with your question and I will answer you as soon as I can.
- You offer subscription memberships, what does that mean?
It means that you will be charged a recurring subscription fee for as long as you stay a member. And this fee will depend on the time-plan you selected when you first signed up.
For example, if you subscribe to be a member and you selected the 1-month time-plan, then you will be charged the set fee each month. You can of course cancel your subscription at any time!
- What are the benefits of subscription memberships?
The main advantage to this type of membership is, once you have signed up, your recurring subscription payments will be handled automatically by PayPal. So, once signed up, there will be nothing for you to do except login and give your mind a regular mental workout.
- Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes, you can! You can cancel your membership at any time as you have total control over your subscription and membership. I wouldn't have it any other way!
Now, when you cancel your membership, it will be with 'no questions asked' as I understand that there are many reasons why you will want/need to do this.
Additionally, when you cancel your membership, you will remain a member for the amount of time your last subscription payment covered. For example, if you signed up with a 3-month subscription and you cancelled your subscription 1 month after your last payment, then you will still be a member for the remaining 2 months.
- How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, you will need to login to your PayPal account and cancel your subscription to Mental Workout there. That's all you need to do as our membership script will take care of everything else.
By going to PayPal to cancel your membership, you can be sure that the subscription payments will stop when you want them to stop.
- What happens to my affiliate commissions if I cancel my membership?
If you cancel your membership then you forfeit your affiliate commissions owing at the time you cancelled, as well as all future affiliate commissions. So think carefully about canceling your membership!
- If I subscribe to become a member but then find that, a few months later, I don't have enough money in my PayPal account to make the regular subscription payment, what happens then?
In such cases, PayPal will alert you by email that the subscription payment was not made and that they will try again in one week (from memory!). This will give you a chance to add some funds to your PayPal account in readiness for when they will try again to make the subscription payment on your behalf.
This will happen 3 times. If by the 3rd time, there is still not enough funds in your PayPal account, then your subscription will be automatically terminated at PayPal (and with us). This means that you will need to re-sign up again with us should you want to become a member of Mental Workout once again.
 Credit Cards Accepted by PayPal
- I have signed up to become a member but I have not
received the confirmation email from you.
A confirmation email was
definitely sent to you. Check the email account you used when you registered as well as your spam folder (if you have one).
If you still cannot find our confirmation email, let me
know and I will send you another one ASAP.
- I am concerned about privacy issues.
Let me
reassure you that I take your privacy extremely seriously. To that end,
you might want to read my Privacy
Policy.
- I am concerned about
the security of my PayPal account.
This is a valid concern. Let me
point out that I do not have access to your PayPal account. While I will know your PayPal email address, I will not have access to your
PayPal account as it would require me to know your PayPal password which I
have no way of knowing and no reason to know.
I should also say
that the subscription membership
transaction is totally handled by PayPal, whether you pay using your PayPal account or whether you use your credit card. I have nothing to do with the actual transaction process.
- How much control do I
have over my membership?
You have total control over your
membership in that you can:
- change your password at any time,
- cancel your subscription/account,
- earn affiliate commissions by promoting our web site,
- and so on...
- How safe is PayPal?
Again a valid concern. Let me say that:
- PayPal is a financial transaction
service that has more than 40 million member accounts world wide. You can
therefore be sure that PayPal has taken all the necessary steps to ensure
that all online financial transactions are handled securely,
- PayPal is now owned by eBay,
- I have been using PayPal for a number of years now and have been very happy
with it.
- The PayPal order page displays 'Cattle Ramp
Software and Services' as your company name. Is that correct?
Yes
it is. The reason for this is that I initially used PayPal to accept
payments for software I sold online. I then decided to go into SEO work
and thought of possibly expanding into other online areas.
To
reflect this, plus the fact that I only wanted to have the one account
with PayPal, I altered my PayPal 'company name' to something that would incorporate all my online
ventures.
Hence the current 'Cattle Ramp Software and Services'
PayPal company name.
- Your PayPal email address is not what I would
expect as it is an 'alphalink.com.au' email address. Should I be
concerned?
Not at all. I have been using Alphalink as my ISP for a
number of years and hence have an 'alphalink.com.au' email address. This
address is the one I use with PayPal so as to be notified of all payments
for all the online services I offer (see above question).
- I don't want to have an account with PayPal, can I
become a member another way?
Yes
you can. PayPal accepts a number of credit cards which means that you do not need to be a member of PayPal to make your subscription payments.
However, all affiliate commissions will be made to PayPal accounts at the start of each month. You will therefore be required to have a PayPal account if you are interested in being an affiliate member of your site. All members of our site can optionally choose to become an affiliate member if they want to.
- Do you offer money back guarantee?
Given that you can subscribe using the 1-month plan and that you can unsubscribe any time during that month and that the subscription fee for 1 month is so low, I do not offer money back guarantee.
- How does the affiliate system works?
The way the affiliate system works is very simple: you refer to us people who become members and every time they make their subscription payment, you receive a commission. Currently, this commission is 35% of their subscription fee.
And because members pay a recurring subscription fee to stay members, this means that you will get recurring commissions for as long as they stay a member.
- How do I refer people to you?
Inside the members' area, you will find an affiliate link which will look something like this:
http://www.mental-workout.com/emp/index.php?afid=3
This is YOUR affiliate link! You will then need to place that link on your web site, in your emails, in classifieds,... and every time someone clicks on the link, a cookie will be stored on their computer with your affiliate ID number.
If and when they then decide to become members, the cookie will be used to credit your account with the 'sale' and a percentage of their membership fee will be allocated to your account.
The cookie is valid for 90 days. This means that if they join within 90 days of having clicked on your affiliate link, then the 'sale' will be credited to you. (90 days amounts to 3 months which is plenty of time and will ensure that you do not miss out on any commissions due to you)
- Aren't cookies dangerous?
Yes and no! Cookies are designed to store information and lots of web sites use them to store information relevant to their site eg. a membership site may use them to store certain login details to confirm that you are logged in while you navigate the members' area.
- The affiliate link seems long. Can I shorten it?
I would very strongly suggest that you do as its structure shows that it is an affiliate link and some people may alter it in such a way as to ensure that you miss out on your commission.
To get a shorter version (and a more secure one), I suggest that you go to: www.tinyurl.com to 'encrypt' it.
- Do you provide promotion material that I can use to promote your membership?
That is next on my list of things to do. The members' area contains an affiliate section that will enable you to get your affiliate link, promotional emails and banners.
- Do I need to activate my affiliate membership in the members' area?
Yes you do. Once you have become a member of my site, you will need to login to the members' area, access the AFFILIATE DETAILS page and tick the box that says AFFILIATE (near the bottom of the page).
Once you have done that, you will be able to use your very own affiliate link to earn recurring commissions.
- How do I get paid my affiliate commissions?
At the start of each month, your total commission earned for the previous month will be sent to your PayPal account - no matter how much you have earned! You will therefore need to have a PayPal account.
- Is it free to join your affiliate program?
Not at this stage. One reason for this is that by paying to be a member (and hence an affiliate), you will be more motivated to promote our membership than if it was free. It's human nature!
Having said that, I can sign you as an affiliate to earn 50% commissions if you can 'prove' to me that you are a successful affiliate. In such a case, signing up as an affiliate is FREE + you will get access to the Mental Workout exercises for FREE as well.
BUT . . . I will monitor your affiliate success and will revoke your membership if you are using the exercises and not generating any affiliate income. Fair enough?
If you are interested in earning 50% commissions, feel free to contact me.
- What happens to my affiliate commissions if I cancel my membership?
If you cancel your membership then you forfeit your affiliate commissions owing at the time you cancelled, as well as all future affiliate commissions. So think carefully about canceling your membership!
