If you have a child in the U.S, Australian or New Zealand school system, you know our educational system is struggling behind other developed countries. Kids are getting passed through without even basic reading, writing and spelling skills to help them to succeed in life.

The core mission of every junior school should be to develop a love of reading in each student. But it isn't. Many children end up hating reading (especially boys)...and are afraid of it.

We're told that if learning basic reading doesn't involve lots of whole language 'stab in the dark' reading aloud, if it isn't a big picture-book-a-minute or if there's no catchy songs, kids can't learn.

This is simply not true. Even with this new glitz, too many children are still not learning it.

Because it doesn't work. If your child isn't lucky enough to have a superstar teacher, their education suffers.

The only method absolutely positively guaranteed to get kids mastering sounds and words quickly and easily is the old fashioned way...

...through spaced multi-sensory repetition, hearing, seeing, saying and writing of the basic sounds and words of English with repetition over a short time period.

And they're faster, easier and cheaper than that shelf full of books, software and sight word flash cards that did little or nothing to help your child learn and fall in love with reading and writing.

For example - did you know there are 3 sounds for the letter 'a'?...'Y' has two vowel sounds and one consonant sound...there are six sounds for 'ough'.

Their combined findings produced a method using Phonogram cards as a foundational part of teaching children to write, spell and read

Phonograms are an aid for "thinking to spell." Unless we enjoy being wrong a large portion of the time, we should not expect that if a word looks like another, it will sound the same. "May" might sound like "day," - but "heard...
